ULOG # 17 - Chocolate and its wonders
Chocolate is a delicious sweet that can be consumed in several presentations, such as: ice cream, mousses, chocolates, desserts, cookies, etc.
Among the benefits of chocolate we have:
- The nutritional level is high. It contains large amounts of fiber, it is also full of vitamins (A, BI, B2, B3, C, E, folic acid) and minerals (magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iron, copper, zinc).
- It is a powerful antioxidant.
- Lowers blood pressure and improves circulation.
- Reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
- Improves brain function.
- Reduces cholesterol and stress levels.
- Among other.
My son and I love it and from time to time we treat ourselves. That's why today I decided to prepare chocolate cookies to kill cravings.
We need the following:
- 160 gr of wheat flour
- 90 gr of sugar
- 40 gr of chocolate powder
- 25 ml of oil
- 30 ml of milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 spoon of vanilla
- 1 egg
We begin to beat the egg with the sugar until the mixture increases.
Add cocoa, oil, vanilla, salt, milk and mix.
Then we add the wheat flour.
We stir and then knead until we obtain a soft dough.
Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator and stretch it with a rolling pin.
In my case, I did not have a rolling pin, but I stretched the dough with a container of mayonnaise.
With the molds, cut the dough and place it in a previously greased tray (If you do not have molds, you can use a glass).
Bake for 12 minutes at 180 ° C.
