#ulog 24th| My first time to make a Doughnuts😊
Hello again #uloggers, how are doing today? I know many of us been busy for some work, schools and other responsibility. But the good thing about being busy, our character and brain function so well. That's why i came today for my another #ulog recipe blog. Actually guys this is my first attempt to try this, so cross finger woooh!😁
Home made Doughnuts with Cacao glaze and Peanuts
Here are the ingredients:
For Dough
2 ½ cup of all purpose flour
½ cup of butter, (i substitute mine here 2 Tbsp of oil)
1 egg
2 tsp of instant dry yeast
3 tbsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
1/cup of milk
Cooking oil for deep fryingFor Glaze
2-3 cacao balls
1 tsp of flour
3 tbsp of water
3-4 tbsp of sugar
Procedure
1.On a low heat give a little heat the milk. Make sure that you will not bring it into a boil just lukewarm is enough.
2.After a milk came to be lukewarm pour out the instant dry yeast and let it sit for 5 min. until well disolved.
3.Put the rest of the ingredient over the milk and yeast mixture except for the flour. (sugar, salt, egg and cooking oil) Mix well until well combine.
4.Combine the wet mixture to the flour. Make a whole in the middle and poured out the wet ingredients there. (looks like a volcano)😂
5.Mix and mix until it comes out fluffy and can hold a shape.
6.On a separete bowl with dusted flour, gently put the dough and cover with a towel or any kind of stuff to secure a good cover for the bowl. Leave for atleast 30-45 minutes.
7.Check the dough. Once it is doubled the size like this you can start the next step.
8.On a flat flour dusted surface slightly knead the dough using your both hands with dusted flour too. Roll out the dough to ½ inch standard thickness. (But mine i try a little bit more thinner than the usual).
9.Using a small type drinking glass cut the dough and used to the holes a bottle cup.
10.After cutting it out, place on a dusted tray all the doughnut and let it rest and cover again for about 30 minutes.
11.Prepare the pre heated cooking pan (much better chose smaller and deeper type) Deep fry the dough 3-4 pieces per batch to make sure that the doughnut can be cooked and rise more. Fry till you achieve a slightly golden brown both sides.
12.Drain the excess oil by putting first on a wax paper to absorbed oil.
For the Glaze just combine all ingredients except for crushed peanuts and mix it well till you meet the consistency of this mixture.

13.Spread on top of the doughnut and top it with crushed peanuts. Enjoy it with your love ones!😋
Note: I have made 2 dozen from this, but it will depend on how thick you will make ok guys?
Well i have found my best model for this #ulog episode of mine. My nephew, his name is Jezreel Niel his nickname is "Nenel". He is so excited to taste it and eat this doughnuts.
The food is more enjoyable when it is shared with your love ones.
