ULOG: #7 For Week 17 - Non-Stop Stormy Weather and Had A Vigil at my Nephew

I guess the typhoon "Ompong" is lashing our. This morning it was dark and then it rained. First just light but then the full force of the storm started. Winds were strong and you can hear the rattling of loose roofing materials and the trees swaying. I stayed in the room, did not want to look at the dismal sight of things flying and bad weather.

I was planing to go and visit to my nephew who died. But the weather prevented me from going earlier. So I waited for a while. I was able to go around 5:45pm when it stopped raining. I stayed till the prayers.

With the family some sisters, the wife, daughter and in-laws.

Their house is small, just right for 3-4 people. I like it too. If we were only 3-4 I would have a small house like this, easier to clean and maintain. 2 bedrooms and 1 batch and bathroom.

After praters they prepared a small snack of hot soup and bread. The other neighbors came too. so after praying we all chatted for a while. I am glad his wife's mother will stay with them for a while.

I went home after 8pm. I was able to do a few things and now making my #ulog. Boy I was glad I was home when the heavy rain started again and strong winds.

I hope to be able to attend every night's prayer til the burial. I will go tomorrow after my "me" time. I hope the weather will be better then.
