ULOG: #6 Week 21 - This Picture Just Makes My Heart Swell with Love

Early this morning my daughter made a video call. She had to work overtime so she came home later than usual. It was good her husband was able to exchange time shift. My brother and his wife are here so there was no one to leave the baby with.

My grandson was strapped to his high chair and looked. safe and comfortable. She placed the table in front of him but out of his reach. So I was able to talk to him and he was responding. She asked me to keep him occupied just for a few minutes because she had to go to the bathroom. It was better than just leaving him alone. He would look back at times but I kept him laughing and entertained by singing his songs and just talking to him. She was back right away.

Then later she called again it was late afternoon her time. She was trying to sleep because she had no sleep but my grandson was active. I tried to keep him entertained. My daughter was there but sleeping on and off. My grandson tried to climb up on the rails on the bed. When I called my daughter's name she woke up and got him down.

It felt like I had a hand in watching him. She tried to get him to drink his milk but he was not in the mood. He kept crawling around the bed and my daughter had a hard time' So she left him alone to crawl around bit kept a hand on his t shirt.

Finally I saw he was sleepy because he started to thumb suck. So my daughter cuddled him and they both fell asleep.

Since we were chatting on the iPad I was able to picture them with my iPhone 7. They fell asleep but my daughter left the iPad on so I could see them. I forgot I could have taken a screen shot but I might accidentally close the chat. My heart was swelling with love for the both of them.
