ULOG: #3 For Week 16 Internet Connection Problems for 2 Days

It is so frustrating when you do not have any internet connection or when it starts to give you problems. I have 2 different internet connections in the house. I kept my Globe connection which was my very first internet provider when I started an internet cafe before. We used to dial-up and it took ages. It was also hard when it takes time so when Globe offered it to me, one of the very first costumers in my town, I grabbed the chance. It served me well so when I transferred my computer shop to my house I kept it. I have had it for almost 18 years. So even when I closed I used it in my home for personal use. But later I allowed my boarders to use it and I included it in their rental.

So when PLDT offered a higher speed i also applied and was approved. SO I use PLDT personally in the house. Now we have the fiber. It is ok but the problem is when you have a power failure there is no phone and connection. SO everything was fine. I also did not have much problems when I have some technical problems because they respond fast.

These past few days there have been strong winds and rain. yesterday my connectionwas acting up. I was able to log in but later i could not log in any site especially Facebook. Even Sttemit. It was so frustration. I tried so many trouble shoot. I got fed up so I just went to sleep early.

This morning i was able to log in but kept goin on and off. I was able to log in on the cellphone bothe iPhone and Android but it stopped. I noticed that others were also having problem. I thought it was my LAN so I removed it and used wireless. But still nothing. Last resort I called PLDT, seems like they had a lot of customers with the same problem. She placed me in line on the technical dept. She also restarted my account at her end and told me to unplug my router not just turn on and off like what I was doing, after I hang up.

So I did it as instructed, OH thank God it worked. I was able to log in just before lunch. I was able to pay my bills online via coins.ph and started some blogging on steemit.

I guess in this modern technical world, we are all dependent on the internet. I hope someday the Philippines will have a good connection and free.
