My best experience! Travel contest!
The photographs belong to one of my trips to the island with the family, I love these trips and I cannot tell you why my love for the sea is so big.
A little bit of my trip
It was Easter 2013. We left very early that day, we traveled several people so we distributed ourselves in two cars, my husband, my children, my niece and I in my cars and the other part of the family in the other car.
We moved fast, the traffic was smooth even though it was a holiday. We arrived at Coro (Falcon State) at dusk, we went to visit the dunes, a must for anyone visiting the beaches of Falcon. The medanos are large expanses of sand (their real name Medanos de Coro National Park) formed as a result of the trade winds from the Sahara desert. It was the first time I visited the park, however I already knew what it was about, we had fun rolling around the hillsides and covering ourselves with sand. The medanos are a spectacle, the effect of the wind modifies them every day, that is why, those who visit it often, see different landscapes in each trip, often the sand completely covers the few trees that still exist.
From there, we continue to the hotel where we would stay. We arrived and settled, but at that moment we observed the pool that was inside the hotel and everyone (except me) did not hesitate a minute to jump into the water (in particular I do not like cold water).
And now, the next day we went to the Cayos, to get there we had to take a boat on a dock that was located near the hotel and this took us directly to the Cayo of our choice. That day we chose Cayo Sal.
All the Cayos are crystal clear waters. These beaches are ideal to enjoy with the children since they are warm and shallow waters which makes it perfect to contemplate the coral formations and all the diversity of fauna that live in these formations.
We enjoyed two days of beach. The next day we visited Cayo Sur, which I recommend if I ever travel to Venezuela (one of my favorites).
I hope you liked it, thanks for reading!
