Watching the steam swirl up from a hot cup of coffee while I was "getting in the zone" to choose my priorities for the day. Posting a ulog made the list :) Something new readers may not know about me is that I curate a contest with the tag #dailyfoodphotography. I'm enjoying connections with food and photography lovers. Do you share those interests?

JOIN THE FUN! Share only original photographs of your meals, snacks, and drinks with the tag #dailyfoodphotography as often as you wish. Each week I'll choose a Winner and Top Ten Compilation including the author's photograph and a link to their original post. This is a great way to grow your audience!

About the #dailyfoodphotography contest:

The idea is to build a community of food enthusiasts that support each other's growth as bloggers, practice photography skills, and connect with people around the world. Food is our universal language! Regardless of which languages we speak, read, and write we all eat. My intention is to reward participation, not to choose only the most beautiful or high quality photographs. I will recognize effort and variety. The only requirement in addition to a photo is that you mention the contest in your post (see #2 below).

Entering the weekly contest is as easy as 1-2-3...

1. Post at least one original food photograph using #dailyfoodphotography as one of your five tags as many times as you want to on any day of the week.
2. Important! Mention the contest in your post.
   Example: "This is my original entry to the #dailyfoodphotography contest, founded by @howtostartablog and curated by @mininthecity"
3. Check that you are following mininthecity.

Posts can include any type of food photography:

• Food at home and at restaurants
• Recipes
• Reviews of restaurants and coffee shops
• Gardens, fruit trees, and vineyards
• Food trucks and street food
• Farmer's markets and grocery stores
• Anywhere there is food!
