ULOG25:I SPENT MY DAY EXPANDING MY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ANIMALS
Gradually, i am showing interest in setting up a poultry and have bwwn trying to engage in reading articles and learning from the exprienced and succesful in the field.
today was not different as I had another thing to learn by consulting my textbooks as a student in the faculty of Agriculture and here are the things I decipher.
The animal body is made up of many millions of individual cells. But these cells are not scattered through the body in disorder or confusion.Rather,they form a well organized community of cooperating cells. Cells adapt themselves and deveolop into a remarkable variety of different forms and sizes.
Similar cells group together to performed similar work. The work these cells do is call a special function of the cells and the group of cells itself is called a tissue. A group of tissues form organ. Generally tissues are classified into four types namely epithella,connective,muscular and nervous tissue.

The animal cell takes various shale but has a solid boundary called cell membrane.
Inside the boundary is jelly like material called the cytoplasm
Within the cytoplasm is found a darker round body called nucleus
Epithelia Tissue
Contain cells that are held together at their common boundaries by a thin layer of intercellular substance.
Form a continuum that covers the surface of every organ
Based on the cells arrangement could be simple,pseudo stratified or Strafford epithelial
Based on cell shapes could be cuboidal,columnar,squamous or transition epithelia.
