I started the day at 12:30 AM. Lots of things on my mind. Having a talk with God.

At daybreak I continued my conversation while riding my motorcycle in the mountains and by the sea. I have a few photos to share with you my morning. I believe God shows so much beauty in every sunrise to tell us it is a new day and His mercies are new every morning. Candy for the eyes and quietness for the soul. A perfect setting for a chat with your best friend.

The clouds were amazing this morning, catching my eye at every turn.

When I looked down from near the mountain top, I could see the golden sun reflecting in the bay.

When I first moved to the Philippines, I heard that there were 70,000 families without one bible per home. Immediately I asked God to give me 70,000 bibles to give to these families. I built a storehouse to hold the Bibles. My storehouse will hold about 4000 bibles at capacity.

So far, to God’s credit we have given away 8000 bibles. I have around 700 left at this moment.

Today we gave 250 students the first bible.

There is something so satisfying about that. Yesterday 250 students gave their hearts to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Now they have God’s Word to study, live by and to grow.

This evening I am so grateful! But also, something inside of me wants to do so much more for the beautiful people of the Philippines.

With God and through God’s people we can accomplish anything!
