ULOG 21: Losing Your Rhythm and Finding it again
I love writing. If reading was my childhood love, writing my love as an adult. Seeing my filled journals fills me the way diploma's on the wall fill others. I already lost the beautifully printed certificate I earned last week when I finished my Reiki Level IV Teacher level certification. It's somewhere at my mom's house, but my journals, I need them near me. Even if Im not writing in them. They are proof that I am doing something.
I love blogging on Steemit. Seeing my posts, and my pinterest board filled with every single one of my pieces of writing is the book I already wrote. My fiction, ulogs, parenting articles, etc. all cataloged. Its like I did something.
I see pride and joy and think this is how I want to make my money. I find the ways that I can fully utilize all of my talents, the networking, the communities, the words, the freelancing, I make plans, and I start them.
And then I self sabotage
All of a sudden I want to write poems in my journals about pens being heavy.
I love the writing. When I don't have a writing schedule I can write happily and with a smile all day every day. Oh, but that schedule. That e-book writing assignment. That freelancing gig that didn't channel as if writing itself from divine intervention. Maybe its because of this or maybe its because of that. Nobody wants to give that much energy to the why not.
And then the writing is gone.
But then you remember, that ulogs exist. That its ok that you haven't created that pinterest graphic that is matches that brand of yours perfectly. Its ok that you aren't linking any of your affiliate marketing links. Its ok that you should be doing this or you should be doing that. Enjoy the writing, because you are a writer. Don't let the writing for work get in the way of writing for pleasure.
Because ULOGS exist because we love writing. And that's all I have to do to be successful at that.

I did not know about the ulog app! Will make sure to use it from now on.
I didn't think I would love writing... But I found freewrite... And then there's no turning back... I haven't try ulog yet... Maybe will look into that some day...

I like freewrites too but I think ulogs are my favorite. You simply write about your day and how things are going, like an online journal.
