Hello Steemitverse!

Today, I will be posting what I've been up to this week. Too many things to do but as long as you love what you're doing then its fine. I enjoy working in public health. I feel like I'm really born to work in the community. Haha. There are people who can't stand the heat, the crowd, and all the discomfort when you're working in the field, but me, I enjoy every bit of it.

Last week, the Civic Action Program already started. Its a priority project of the LGU that aims to deliver different kinds of services to the community. This will run for about 3 months, every Thursday and Friday, until all the barangays has been visited. Of all the projects, this one is my favorite. So happy that they're allocating funds for this kind of activities. I hope other LGUs will adopt this, as this helps the community a lot.

Average consultation per day is about 300 patients. Most of them usually needs vitamins for the kids, and meds for cough and colds. We usually start at 8AM and finishes around 12NN.

Patients will have their vital signs taken, then proceeds to the registration area where they will be asked about their profile and chief complaint. They will then be directed to wait for their turn for doctor's consultation. Last stop would be the dispensing of medicines.

CIVAC is fun! It feels like being close to the community. Its tiring but its an overwhelming feeling to be doing something for them. As what I've been saying always, I'm glad that I'm being paid to do what I love the most. And I thank God for it.

There are so many challenges that I encounter but I try to overcome them, one problem at a time. Haha. There are days when you feel like you wanted go give up, because yeah, nothing's perfect and there are like a countless of glitches if you may ask. But those are just the bad days, eventually, it'll pass. Tiwala lang. Tiwala lang talaga! 😂
