ULOG 003: MY BROTHERS WEDDING IN ILORIN
Good Evening my dear friends,
How was your day? and i Just returned from Ilorin, Kwara state , I was there for the wedding ceremony of Mr and Mrs Akinoye. The Groom is my brother and also a gentleman to the core.
I woke up around 6 a.m in the morning, and rushed to the kitchen to prepare food for my dogs. I prepared Indomine and fish for them and waited till it got cold before i served them .
Around 7am i had my bath and ate small bread and little tea. Though I don't really like eating breakfast early in the morning. I waited for my Uncle to pick me at home and finally he got to my place at 7.15am.
We were in the Car, My Uncle, his wife, Mr Tola and myself. We left Ile oluji by 7.30am. We passed through Ondo - Ife - Oshogbo - Ikirun - Offa - Ilorin. It was a long journey which took us 4 hours before we finally got to Ilorin.
We met them at the church, ECWA Church close to Offa Garage in Ilorin and I was happy to see other members of our family who are sited. It was a joyful moment when they were both pronounced Husband and Wife by the officiating pastor. I am looking forward to my own wedding soon. I love that moment.
After the Church Service, we left for the reception around 1.30pm at Princess Luxury Hotels, in Ilorin where I ate Pounded yam and egusi soup. I took just 2 wraps. I used Red wine to wash it down. The couple danced and we joined them and I spayed some money I had on me. I took some minutes out to meet one of my good friends, we attended University of Ilorin who stays at Tanke, Close to NNPC Filling station. We talked and even played PS4 video game with him( PES 18), I won him 2-1.
My uncle called me and asked for my location and I told him I came to see my friend, he told me to meet him in 5 minutes. I rushed and left my friend , I took a bike to the reception venue and my Uncle was already in the Car waiting for me. We left immediately I got there around 2.45pm and set out for the journey back to Ile Oluji, Ondo State.
We were stopped by the Federal Road Safety Corps at Osogbo, they checked the car tire, fire extinguisher and my Uncles drivers licence. And they allowed us to leave because we had all those. We got to ile Oluji around 6.50pm. I was very tired and very weak. I dont really like travelling ,I don't like sitting for hours in the vehicle. My Uncle dropped me in my apartment and left. I am wishing the new couple happy married life. I am very tired and to take little time to type this.
My phone camera has issues and I only uploaded some pictures that was sent to me.
