#Ulog No.24 My Expert Diver Nephew in Boracay

in #ulog6 years ago

Hello #uloggers and #steemians! Mabuhay! Good morning!

My sister Malou who lives in Boracay has a son who is an expert Scuba Diver named Andrew. At first he studied Culinary at Germany. He was able to get a scholarship there. He said that it's really tough to take this kind of study! His father is a German National named Ranier. Ranier by the way is a generous man because he helped me send my daughter Uma to school in her elementary education. I'm endebted to this guy. Now he is sick and I hope he will be ok. It's just sad that good guys like him gets incapacitated due to illness. Our family keeps in touch with him often and gives him encouragement.

Going back to my nephew Andrew. After he finished his education, he visited Boracay where my sister lives. He liked the beach life and the underwater world so much that He took lessons in scuba diving. He really got serious about his new found passion that he finally became a Certified Expert Instructor.

Just recently he got invited to come and give some lessons to a diving outfit here at Cebu in Moalboal. He was so happy to see the diversity of underwater life that Cebu still enjoys.

He is one of the advocates of clean environment and has joined in the present cleanup that is going on in Boracay. They gathered tons of plastics and used bottles floating in its supposedly clear and pristine waters. It's just so sad that there are some establishments there that are so irresponsible and just dont care about the preservation of the island and mother nature But my nephew cares so much about its condition because its their home anyway. My sister has 3 houses there that she built after she retired from work in Germany and she rent them out to visitors of the island. A good retirement investment indeed!

I told him to join Steemit because he has a lot of beautiful photos of the beautiful under water world. When I told him the difference of posting in Steemit compared with other social media platforms, he became interested. Soon he will be posting some of the results of his adventures in his diving passion.
