Ulog #6 | Children make life in nature - Social work with kids
The reward of working with children in need
For almost 2 years, I worked with children in need of a sector outside of my city.
The community work was done thanks to my Church "Ministerio Internacional Encuentro Con Jesus".
They gave me the opportunity to go and work with children with many needs (economic, studies, personal, etc). There were (and I still think there are) teenagers who knew the lyrics of the vowels.
The majority of these young people must go to work at the municipal market of Puerto La Cruz to be able to help in their homes to carry the daily bread. These young people know how to count because they must count bills, because they charge for the work they are going to do in that market.
Every Saturday we went to a team of people (boys and girls), together with a group of people who rotated to share with these young people (boys, girls and teenagers).
Part of the Team
Part of the People who rotated
We carried tables, chairs, notebooks and pencils, songs, biblical history, clothes and food. We saw a miracle of God at the time of eating, because we had to feed about 55 young people, plus the fixed equipment and added to that, the rotating team. And I say it's a miracle, because the economic situation in Venezuela has been very difficult for more than 5 years and we put together a little of what people offered for lunch (which was rarely a lot) and we saw how the food for everyone .
The team was made up of people trained to help young people with their difficulties in education.

We took time to recreate and play the ball for a while.
We had special recreation for children under 3 years of age.
Many times I had to lend myself and be part of their games (extremes?) lol
They are children with emotional needs, too.
Many of them live in domestic violence and several times they took refuge in us to vent their pain.
Our goal was always to instill values and make them see that there is a different path than their parents and ancestors lived.
I have always felt proud to do this for these children with needs that sometimes we do not even think they have. The day I had to leave this nice job, it was painful for me but as I always told them: some day I will know about you, young people, and I know that you are now good men and women.
(This photo was from the first day that we started working with the youth)
In this work I had support from Steemeans as @autinf @rosaimm @nior @lrsm13 @jons0318 @lozanocarmen @luis2702 @alejandro12 @maxielbolivar @marting and others.
To which I say THANK YOU, if I never told you.

Greetings friends
Thanks for the support and for your vote with this publication.
As you already know, it's a team effort. I only had the honor of being the leader of this mission.
All help and support for this type of social work is always welcome.
We did not receive monetary payment for this, the reward, after a tiring day there, was the children's smile and the desire to be with them again.
you are always welcome, @steemgh, to join this job hahahaha here we wait for you!
A big hug to the entire community of @wafrica and @wafrica.curators.
