Ulog # 18: A Pawsome Interaction

Hi, Steemit Universe!

I’ve haven’t posted much in the past few days, it’s been quite an eventful week and it’s only Wednesday. For today we had a scheduled count at one of our Company’s location. The count was okay, my companions were pleasant and performed their duties well. While taking a break, I noticed this adorable baby cat sitting across me.

In the argument between cats and dogs, I’m 100% team cat! They’re so so adorable (I mean dogs are too but cats win the round for me everytime). This one also happened to be very photogenic so I sneaked several pictures while talking to it.

Baby cat had such pretty eyes and a calm manner and just let me take pictures of it. I patted it gently on its head and it let me do that until it started moving.

To my pleasant surprise, it climbed onto my lap and made itself comfortable there. (Yeah, I’m wearing a scrubsuit as a biosecurity measure).

It must have been feeling sleepy then, because a little while after, it rested and slept while laying across my lap.

The last few days have been a roller coaster ride of sorts. This one moment is such a pure moment of warmth from a strange cat that it made me smile to no end.

I had to leave baby cat there as it was time to go back to the office. Nonetheless, it’ll remain a pleasant memory to me to last me through the week.

I hope that you too, you also find a pocket of warmth from somewhere, whether it be in the form of a stranger cat or another, and may it warm your heart and make you smile sincerely.
