Ulog # 10: Origami, Of Paper Art
Good day, fellow Steemians! I hope you're all well.
Have you seen an origami? Those cool little paper formations that come out as even cooler little artworks? They're awesome. Even cooler when you can make them. It's one of the things I can consider a hobby, though so far I only know how to make three things; butterfly, flower and crown.
Butterflies! They're so cuuuuuuute. One time I had to present a talent at my new workplace so I thought of making an origami butterfly. It's really simple to make, and very relaxing. I don't know why, but making origami for me has always been somewhat therapeutic.
Flowers! This is the first type of origami I learned. It's also one of the prettiest.
And the newest I learned is the paper crown. This is made out of cigarette filters. Hohoho. I just watched a Youtube tutorial on how to make them and it really turned out pretty well.
And here is a picture of me wearing the crown! Bwahaha. Sorry, looks a bit weird.
I hope you get to learn origami making, it's so therapeutic. Probably because even when things don't make sense, you know that following a certain set of steps will always give you the same result, the same pretty butterfly, the same pretty flower, the same pretty crown.
Till next #ulog! holds on to my silver crown and cartwheels out of the stage
