#ulog : I Made Flashcards Out Of Milk Carton Boxes
Hello Uloggers,
Good afternoon to all. June is already here which is the official start of the school year here in the Philippines. I am already done with everything my two kids need for school except this one project that I had been busy with.
This is what I had been working on. I made my son this flash cards to help him count in multiples of 2, 5 and so on.
A closer look at a flash card. I used recycled carton milk boxes for the cards using the reverse side. I poked holes on each card after writing the numbers. To tie everything together I used a metal wire.
I made three sets in total. I know I can buy similar flash cards in the local bookstores that look beautiful and shiny but I prefer to craft one myself. As much as possible I want to reuse almost every waste I find here before dumping them to the waste bin. I am happy I found another use for these milk boxes. I am confident to say that I had taught my household some good upcycling or recycling ideas with this project.
How about you Uloggers, do you have any ideas on what to do with milk boxes? Or do you have a recent craft project involving used materials? Feel free to share your comments. Until next ulog.
I can see that you relly like to reuse things ;-) Like the terracota pot for my house =))
Hi @luigi-the-gnome nice to see you here on my post thanks for dropping by. Yes I do try to find other uses for things that are supposed to be thrown away and yes I even used that idea on my entry today 😊
