#Ulog 002 Adventure with Nature and Love

in #ulog6 years ago

Spending the rest day aside from just watching movie cinemas or mall shopping, I prefer to spend it outside of town, away from pollution and closer to Mother Nature but as a bonus, together with my partner because it's always better to travel as a team. Choosing the right place to spend to vacant Sunday to ease the weekdays' stress from the job, we opt for a beach moment.

We start to travel at 8 o'clock in the morning because the place would require an hour for us to reach and it's not so isolated because you can just walk from the national road through the vicinity. We just ride with my partner in crime's motorcycle to save from the bus fare and also we can have the unlimited freedom to stop whenever we wanted to, juts like when we reach an area where the locals where known to be a very good cook of rice cake or bibingka named Manticao in Misamis Oriental.

It's past 11 o'clock in the morning when we arrived. Welcome to Suyo Beach Resort! It's a place where you can feel like you only in your home because of its cottages and rooms that were made of bamboo strips. The area was also fenced with the bamboo trunks and you can find the shades everywhere inside because of the trees that were planted, circling the entire resort.

Most of the trees you can find in there were Talisay and Coconut tree. You can also feel secure aside from having the many caretakers you can lean on and entrust your things, there are lots of dogs and puppies in there where you can easily play with for they were also super tamed and loves the companionship with humans for the owner of the resort had never attempted to cage or tied the dogs even the puppies.

But there's a small isolated area inside the resort where accidentally I found a small monkey tied inside the cage. I stopped taking pictures after seeing him/her for it really melted my heart for I can see not the physical pain but the emotional because of its loneliness. Everyone search for its belongingness right? Even we, humans.

In the afternoon, we decided to take a little walk beside the seashore and I prefer to walk on my bare feet. The water is somewhat like muddy because of its tide but you don't have to worry because it is very clean and not too painful to walk into without slippers. My man desired to reach the broken bridge which would take kilometers for us to reach but I don't mind as I'm just simply taking pictures to everything my eyes could latch.

For example, this old lug in the seaside that nobody tends to take it because it's too heavy and it became the housed of tiny crabs that seem to me like hundreds of them, taking advantage of its shade and moist under the heat of the sun.

And now that we are now so close to it, I can see fulfillment in his eyes. I don't know what he's thinking but I'm pretty sure that there is something that the broken bridge reminded him of.

He's not so fond of taking pictures, but more on videos but I've always told him that he's my model and there's nothing he can do with it that's why he can't really argue with me when it comes to that hobby.

We spend the night at the resort and in the morning, I have noticed the beauty of the huts with its specific purposes. Let's say for example this small canteen near the room we occupied.

Making our own footprints. I really love the idea of "take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints."

The head of the caretakers is very kind and hospitable as she shared with us her sumanand pandesal together while we're finishing our coffees but during that time I preferred the chocolate drink to avoid any stomach displeasure because we still have to travel to get back home.

I highly recommend this area especially for those who haven't still experienced their summer getaways because aside from its ambiance, the accommodation is very very good and its location is easily accessible.

Soyu Beach and Resort in Naawan, Misamis Oriental is one of the places that I'd always like to visit again and again because what you'll gonna experience in here especially during the night is priceless. Watching the sky filled with stars like there's no space left for emptiness and stars falling like waiting for your eyes to turn on them. And in the morning, is watching the blue sky with the tall coconut trees that goes along with the wind, complementing the color which makes your morning delightful with a dew.
