ULOG DAY 43: "MAN TAKES TO THE SKIES"

in #ulog6 years ago

Many centuries ago, there was a bird flew in the skies where the man saw. He asked if it would be possible for a human to fly too when he travels. In 1973, the French Montgolfier brothers invented the primary balloons. They tested if it could carry belongings while it floats. Then, their experiment succeeded in which it carried humans while floating through the air. How did they do it? The only things they used were paper and silk. Then, they filled it of the heated air. Its direction only depends on the wind because it had no engine.

Thereafter, the Airship came out. It is filled with helium gas and oxygen to float in the air. It can choose its own direction because it is installed with an engine. The primary successful airship came out in 1852, an invention by Henri Giffard. Count Ferdinand Von Zeppelin developed the airship at the end of the 19th century. His own version of an airship called Zeppelin was used in World War II in England to load passengers. It was also used for dropping missiles.

The first allowed air travel happened in Ohio after the launched petrol-driven airplane by Wright brothers. Then it was launched internationally as they succeeded in their first flight in December 1903 landing to the beach in North Carolina namely Kitty Hawk.

As the years go by, the aircraft's advanced to load many passengers and pieces of baggage. They installed robust engines that can likewise run a long distance at the very high speed.

When the World War II was done, the jet-age abruptly developed. The former version of Piston-driven planes unfolded into planes with turboprop as well as the turbo-airliners that can reach 600 miles per hour. Nowadays, we are aware that many planes can load 375 passengers specifically the massive Boeing 747 jumbo jets. It has 20 freights in its speed.

A plane that can fly 1,300 miles per hour is the supersonic airplanes. These are the British-French Concorde and the Russian TU-144. It can fly across the Atlantic ocean for a few hours but the times will be cut down.

In the era of 1947 was the opening of the high-speed helicopter travel that will never bore the passengers and will land to the distinct airports. Jet planes also are used to carry mail and goods immediately.
