#ulog2: My own version of Iguana
Hello everyone! For this day I will share to you how I made own version of "tarebalak" or iguana by using scrap materials.
MATERIALS
- old rubber mat
- masking tape
- glue gun/glue stick
- bamboo pole
- paint
- vines
- beads from broken bracelet, for the eyes
The steps that I did
I covered the bamboo pole with vines, then I cut some branches of the bougainvillea. I will use it for the skeleton of the Iguana's body
Next, I cut the rubber mat into pieces to form the body, then I covered it with masking tape,to make it firm and contact.
Then I used quick dry paint. I let it dry for an hour.
Adding details on the iguana, I'm using the beads from the old bracelet as eyes.
Adding details on the Iguana, I'm putting it's dorsal crests. Then, I used the scissors to make it sharp
As you can see right here, I'm about to finish this Iguana. I will just add some finishing touches on it.
Finish Product
I can now add this on my artworks and at the same it can also be use on important events/festivals here in my country
