My dad turns 70 years old today!
My mom took today and tomorrow off work so they could galavant about town.
I decided to bake up some birthday cupcakes for the old man.
Chocolate cake with chocolate chips and vanilla frosting. plus some chocolate sprinkles for good measure. 😍
After the kids get out of school we have a pediatrician appointment for Simon. I suspect he might have sleep apnea or something similar that's preventing him from breathing right sometimes at night.
He's been waking up in cold sweats, screaming and crying and confused. unable to tell me what's wrong. poor little guy, he loves to sleep, so if something is waking him to the point that he's terrified, it's more than just a nightmare or anxiety. he always has a stuffy nose and if he really does get a cold it turns into an ear infection same day! 😮
i'm hoping his ped will take my concerns seriously and figure out what to do next. 🤷♀️

Your son could have night terrors. My brother used to have them and would wake up the exact same way. They went away on their own. I hope he gets better soon!
