ULOG: 04 "The fire in the patching tool caught gas, one shop and two motorbikes burned"

A tire and motorcycle repair shop owned by Umar Said (34) burned to the ground leaving debris. Not only that, motorbikes belonging to customers added tires and also burned.

Umar Said, who also sells fried foods, must lose the furniture in the form of a refrigerator and the cash that was sold out burned. Because his tire patch kiosk has been used as a place to live.

The fire began when Umar Said was patching his customer's motorcycle tire. Suddenly a fire used in a tire patch grabbed jerry cans containing the usual gasoline sold for retail.

It was suspected that the fuel leaked or spillage occurred until it was struck by fire from a tire patch. The fire enlarged and grabbed the house and its contents.

"The cause of the fire is because of fuel from jurigen," said Jose Bello, Head of the Fire Department of Malang City, Tuesday (8/28).

The fire quickly grew and burned the kiosk on Jalan Raya S. Supriadi RT 01 RW 05 Bandungrejosari, Sukun, Malang City, along with two motorbikes. While residents and victims cannot do much.

A total of 8 FMD cars and 35 personnel immediately extinguished the fire. It took no more than ten minutes for the fire to be extinguished.

In other places, the fire also set fire to a warehouse making sandals and its contents belonging to Riamin (46), a resident of Toyomarto Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency. As a result of the incident, 8 pieces of printing machines for sandals, items and materials for making sandals were glue, the sponge was burned.

The flames are known when the victim's witness wants to take her child to school. Victims assisted by local residents tried to extinguish the fire with makeshift equipment, before the officers and 2 PMK car units arrived.

As a result of the incident, the victim suffered a loss of around USD 18,182. While the exact cause of the fire is unknown.
