I am joining @worldcapture's People Photography contest. It's been a while since I joined a contest in Steemit so I went through my recent trips and found this photo commotion taken at the General Santos Fish Port when we traveled to General Santos last month together with the entire family.

General Santos City is actually the Philippines' Tuna capital because of the numerous huge tunas being docked over into the fish port every single day.

The tunas arrive early morning. We were a little late so we only saw a 36kg local tuna, local means it can only be sold in the city, most tunas here are being exported. They are rated, iced and boxed as soon as they arrive.

These guys above are still fish port workers who are moving the newly arrived smaller tunas to the market where they are sold to middlemen who will then move the catch to other local markets within the city, some go up to the other provinces.

Mind you, there are soo many fishes in the port that day and they are just starting when we arrived there.

For us, it's about quality time which we find when we travel. During those times when we know no one but ourselves, we discover, understand and comprehend each other better.

Fill up each other's love bank, invest in what matters and you'll have an amazing marriage!

The sun was harsh and we were already against the light when this photo was taken. Good thing there were still details that were recovered on Lightroom.
