#Ulog 011: Having Fun Despite The Pain

Dear Jules, it’s pretty much been a while without me stopping by here, it’s not intentional…..there’ve been lots of activities going on that I cannot even comprehend.

So, I left the house in the morning in a bid to get to an MTN shop so as to retrieve my SIM, I’d like to retain my previous line.

I went along with an identity card as I was told it’ll be needed for proper identification.
As I got to their office, I was told to wait, which I did and after some few minutes, I was attended to but alas, I was told I couldn’t retrieve my SIM.

So disheartening…..

They said my Dad was the one who registered the SIM and as such, would be needed to retrieve the line for me. I had to call my dad immediately and told him the latest development.
After much waiting, and contemplating whether or not to go home, I met with a very notable Steemian….. @dante31.

Wow, I couldn’t believe my eyes, he felt so bad seeing my face in that condition and said he was heading to his church for a program they had that day.

It was like a FunFair event combined with the children’s day celebration.
There were lots of games to play, music to dance to and of course, food to eat.

I so wanted to join the kids, jumping up and down on the play booth but then, I wasn’t physically strong and @dante31 wouldn’t let me.

He said I’m not a baby….#sad

After watching the kids dance, we proceeded to get a drink and we got PINACOLADA, a pineapple and coconut drink mixed with ice……amazing taste. I loved it and almost didn’t want it to finish, lol
@dante31 was all about the chicken. He so wanted to have Barbeque even before we arrived at the venue and so, we got that too.

We had barbeque and the drink and had fun gisting and laughing until it was time to leave.

We left the venue together and @dante31 ensured I got into a vehicle that’ll convey me home.

In the end, I had a swell time at the event with @dante31 and despite the pains I was feeling, I was still able to enjoy myself.
