#ULOG Day 4 OFW Diaries Flowers all over the place! Singapore's Flower Dome
It is my childhood dream to have a garden of flowers, and if I can already afford it I wish to visit the Flower gardens in other parts of the world. I did plant a flower when I was a kid but it was only 1 pot. It is Sampaguita and I was just lucky that it did produce flowers. The smell is great and but I wish there were more flowers.
Last week my childhood dream came true! I am lucky that I had the chance to visit this place with my younger brother too to help me take photos ahahaha
I visited the Flower Dome and I was really ecstatic. I ended up spending too much time there and we almost did not get to see the Cloud Forest because I cannot stop taking my photos with the flowers :)
I even wore a flowered top :)
When we entered this is how it looked!

Sorry if I shared too many photos it was just so much fun for me to see all these beautiful flowers.
The most interesting flower is this one below you can see that it is black, from deep red it changes color to black :)
Quick Tips
- If you visit Singapore and you want to visit The Gardens By the Bay Flower Dome prepare some drink and snacks and best footwear for walking
- Reserve at least 4-5 hours to enjoy the whole place, from the Cloud Garden to Flower Dome to the Lights show and the Skyway
- Make sure you have enough memory space for the photos you will take as every corner is picture perfect and no filter is required
- Go there late afternoon to catch the sunset and the dusk which is just the right time before the first light show
- You can also sit there in the park and just have a picnic, we found some great spots near the pond overlooking the DragonFly Bridge.
How to go there?
Take the Train to Bayfront - it is where the Marina Bay Sands is and just follow the directions to the tunnel connecting to Gardens by the bay.
Will I come back?
Yes yes yes! And they do change flowers every once in a while. Visit their website for updates :)
