Happy Fiesta! My 2nd Ulog! 🤗
Hello!! This is my second Ulog! 😊
Yesterday, after I heard mass with my boyfriend’s family, i went to their house because it’s fiesta in their barangay. We ate lunch as soon as we arrived at their house.
Around 3 in the afternoon, we were invited by his bestfriend, Justin, to watch parlor games that he organized for the kids of Brgy.Malumot, Paombong, Bulacan. The games were Hampas Palayok and Pabitin.
HAMPAS PALAYOK
Hampas palayok or also known as Pukpok Palayok or “Hitting the pot” is a traditional Filipino game where the player gets blindfolded then he has to hit and break the pot using a bamboo stick, while the by-standers are waiting for the goodies or coins inside the pot. The player who successfully hit the pot, gets a prize, usually a money. Fiesta is not complete without this game.
PABITIN
This game is usually played in a birthday celebration. Toys and candies are hanging while the children try to reach and get what they want.
Overall, my Sunday went productive and happy. Aside from celebrating fiesta, i was able to be with my friends and loved ones. ❤️

Is that a traditional thing that happens every year? I mean the parlor games? I didn't know it is also practiced for fiestas!
