#ULOG 9 // Looking Forward To The Retreat

Tomorrow, I won't be online to post my now daily journal as we will be attending the retreat of our church. We do this once a year, usually during the Halloween break. I'm praying that God will speak to each of the participants in a very personal way. It's actually one of my favorite times of the year because it's a great opportunity for me to refresh and reflect.

So today, I again worked on my re-edits of one of our songs. I'm actually having a hard time balancing the bass and the bass drum. I wanted to maintain the punch of the bass drum while at the same time letting the bass line shine through. It's a tough balancing act to do. And I'm still trying to find the right mix for these two vital elements of the mix.

I took a long break though, which was not good to be honest because I'm trying to finish my re-edits as soon as possible. But it's alright! I still enjoyed my time playing some PS4 games. I played FIFA for the first time! It's actually a pretty tough game to play, especially as a beginner. But I started to get the hang of it and made some cool goals. Fun game!

Again, I won't be online tomorrow. But I'm looking forward to the retreat. Hope we'll have a productive time!
