#ULOG 17 // The Desires Of Your Heart

Yesterday evening, I finally was able to deliver the message I've been preparing for the past days.

Delight & Desires

I called the message Delight & Desires. It is based on Psalm 37:4.

I talked about how we can truly delight in the Lord.

The number one indicator that you delight in someone or something is time.

You give time.

That's why if you say that you delight in the Lord, then you also spend time with Him.

Another thing is opportunity. Making opportunity or privilege as the reason for everything that you do.

That you're not obliged to do something. Because the moment you think you're obliged to do something, that's when you stop enjoying it.

But treating every activity and work as a privilege that comes from God and that He has been good and faithful to us. So we will gladly do everything for His glory and honor.

I also talked about what the desires of your heart in the verse really means.

That it's actually the innermost desires of our hearts.

It's more than just the tangible, visible desires that we think about.

It's about love, joy, and peace. The things that our hearts really desire. And they all come from God only.

So ultimately, I said that it's God that we really desire!

Well, I'm thinking of sharing my manuscript of the message here one of these days. Let's see.

My sister's birthday

It was also my sister's birthday yesterday.

She's now 17 years old. One more year until legality!

She's our youngest sibling.

She's a fun loving girl who loves books, music, and photography. So we get along pretty well!
