Ulog #78: Out in the Field Service

I kinda miss going out for deaf ministry after the scary typhoon which hit the northern part of the country, including our province. Today, we went out to visit our deaf students in our town, Lingayen.

In the morning

We met in our town plaza before heading to our deaf students. We gladly reached our student who's rarely at home since she's working as a helper. After the lessons, we're supposed to visit another deaf student, however, we're lacking time and the circumstances won't allow which included the flood in their area.

In the afternoon

We headed to my deaf student who's a relative. Then we headed to my uncle and visited him. It's good to converse with elderly people. They were naturally funny, and you can also learn from their experiences. Eventually, we went to a regular student, and it took us an hour to finish.

It feels good to have your life back on track especially when a natural calamity struck your place. It's a sign of moving on, and be glad that you are safe.
