Ulog #51: Preparing Our Dinner

Last Friday night, my cousin is not here so it's my task to prepare our dinner. I asked my brother what am I going to prepare, and he told me I could roast bangus. I agreed, and my nephew asked if I could boil some okra. Of course, I agreed.

Bangus (or milkfish) was already deboned. Just spread some salt and pepper, tomatoes, onions, calamansi, and garlic, and eventually, oyster sauce.

I preheated the oven for 10 minutes, then I put the fish inside. At 250 degrees, it was roasted for 30 minutes.

This is the actual product. It is as good as you can see it at the picture.

Okra (or ladyfingers) are also boiled as a side dish for the fish.

Dinner is ready! I prepared two dips, bagoong (fish paste) with calamansi and alamang (shrimp paste) with calamansi. It's good to have two choices.
