#ULOG 49| My 49th Birthday And My 1st Year Anniversary On Steemit
Today is my 1st Anniversary on Steemit and coincide with my 49th birthday and I still feel blessed despite the ups and down writing on this wonderful platform!
Last year I remember when I signed up on Steemit, it was June 21, 2017. The following day, June 22, it was my birthday and I received an email that I was approved and started to post.
Though I’m a Minnow when I joined the bandwagon and still a minnow today, but I learned a lot on Steemit. Being on Steemit isn’t easy; there are certain ways to stay on Steemit for good. It’s all up to my volition how am I going to spend my years on Steemit. I stay in focus because I’m into writing though Steemit isn’t just about blogging, posting, writing articles, reading posts, meeting new friends, looking for mentors, upfundme, boosting, chitchat with a whales, discord, busy, untalented, teardrops, untalented, photography, ULOG, Christian living, etc. Steemit is also a mixed of crypto, buy and sell crypto, market, trading, post about cryptocurrency, and others. I didn’t write about crypto though I can do it any time, may be because I’m not that enthusiasts way back before I joined Steemit.
Group chat (either Facebook or Discord) is also part of growing up on Steemit. It adds up an additional experience, learning, and most of all being able to keep me up to date for the upcoming event, contest, helping anyone in need (sending SBD to a needy Steemians), etcetera.
I observed that creating projects for the community is also good and beneficial to everyone. Any Steemian members can participate in the project whether there’s an earnings or not, but most projects do have earnings to be given via curation/upvote.
If I want to be consistent posting on Steemit I have to create rich content post. The post should be unique, photos should be recent or fresh, blog title is supposed to be catchy for me to have an audience, I don’t recycle my own post and I don’t want to repeat it. Some whales to read our post so I have to write new article every day. I know that whatever topic we have in common like for example referring to a poor family, we all still has different approach how we write it. No one monopolizes story, no two stories are identical and have the same content of writing it.
I started a group in August of last year with a friend who eventually left the group this year, but with the help of my co-leader @purpledaisy57 we are still on the go. We had our own account (@steemitdiversify) and our weekly contribution has helped us to grow slowly via upvote. It’s still a small group, but we are consistent and persistent in doing so because we believe our own way of helping each other will bring good results in the future, and we may be able to help others too in the process. The group is making a progress each month.
I was surprised this morning when I woke and greeted me by @purpledaisy on Facebook group chat telling me to take a peek at my wallet! It was a love gift from the group! I’m so elated with their gestures because I really didn’t expect anything in fact I’m so down for many years of battling the unseen trouble that still creeping but I have to be there for the group or else I’ll lose them and I can’t bear to see them scattered and lost because all of them I had mentored! I want to see them grow on Steemit even if I’m gone or whatever happened to me in the coming years. I’d also like to see those mentoring new Steemians in the future just like what I did to them. Steemit had helped me in so many ways. This is my first time to write on this platform without quitting or stopping unlike any other site that I have been writing on.
Before I even start to spill the beans and yelp over spilled milk, I would like to thank SD FAMILY who with their tireless and sleepless night posting on our FB gc, committed to write on Steemit in whatever situation they are into, listening to me what I’m blabbering about what to do and what’s the best for the group to stay alive and kicking.
Again my thanks to Steemit Diversify FAMILY: Jovema Magsipoc (@jovema), Shine Matias (@beany-inhinyero), Ynove Oreroset (@lunamystica), Siti Aishah (@sitiaishah), Richie Cordon (purpleheart), Tongsing Tiu (@neilanthony), Akoaypilipina (akoaypilipina), Steemit Ja Neth (@ladyjah), Hazel Beth Laboga Mabini (@yanzel4lyf), Sharon Vanessa Terceno (@sharonvenssa), Loraine Fabellore (@loraine) and Rahnee De Leon Candaza.
