Haven't been that active yesterday, May 22 as I was focused on something else -

Day 15 - May 22. The day before my appointment and I can only have a light breakfast. Not used to eating early, so I had my breakfast at 10:30 am after I had my shower. Just a simple, tasteless gelatin, yes it was unflavored. I can't even enjoy eating it. With that and an apple juice. Thanks to the register who commented yesterday when she saw the items I bought, "What are you making? An apple gelatin?" she jokingly asked. I just chuckled and responded, "No it's not."

Staring at the apple juice as I was eating the tasteless gelatin, to me it was like eating a soft meat tendon with no spices at all. Mom and I drove as well checking out the location. I started taking the prep, half of the gallon I was given. On my fifth cup, I started feeling I was going to puke. Thanks to the help of water, coffee and mainly apple juice. I manages to drink half, 8 and 1/2 cups of the prep. And of course you know what that means, a non-stop trip to the rest room. It's weird. If you've got one before you know what I mean - peeing on your butt.

Day 16| May 23 - Got up as early as before 7 am, loaded laundry and started taking the rest of the laxative. This other half worried me as I was instructed this is the only thing I can take - no juice, coffee or tea or even water. If I felt the need to puke yesterday, what's more today? That was my thought as I look at the awaiting half gallon on the table. It was still cold. I asked dad to take it out of the fridge around 4 am so it won't be too cold for me, as cold drinks are one of my asthma triggers.

Taking the last cup of the prep. Yay!

Taking few cups, it was another round of restroom trips. Finally I finished the half gallon, a total of 10 cups, and surprisingly, what I read on Youtube comments from YouTube videos I watched were true, it was a lot better when taken chilled. Watching those YouTube videos made me feel less nervous as well, as I get a peek of what awaits.

To not make this #ulog post a lot longer, all went well. All the nurses and staff were nice, lots of Filipina nurses too, took me some waiting with IV, wrist banded, and I was at the room were the doctor was, a lab tech and two nurses where one is a female. I started feeling a bit dizzy I waa sedated, was told to just go with it and relax. I closed my eyes, aware of what's happening. I felt everything and even told the doctor twice that it hurts! It felt like it only took few minutes as I my bed was wheeled back out. Changed back to my clothes and off I'm ready to go home with mom driving. All went well with the result, just got another appointment with the doctor as the problem was just because of an internal almuranas, and yes I just chose to say that in Filipino. 😉

Finally got it over with, ready to go home

Got home and happy to eat a simple porridge made with love - which was posted earlier as my dailyfoodphotography.
