Ulog Entry 6: There You'll Be

Having a father is a blessing to us, but losing him is like losing ourselves in a lifetime.

Hello steemians! First of all, it's my pleasure to say 'happy father's day' to all fathers out there.

It's been years since my father left us in vain, the agony of pain remains up until now. But we could not deny the fact that we have to stand on our own feet now eventhough without him. We have to continue to face the challenges in life in order to survive.

He raised me (and the rest of us) until my 26 years of existence in this cruel world and it stopped when the sudden tragic incident happened to him for the past few years, and its almost three years now, (he left us out of the blue). I felt like my world also stopped on spinning that time. Since I am the eldest of the family, it's not easy for me to see that he's gone now, since he is the only one we leaned on. I kept on questioning everything on what happened,,,why us? But we could not turn back time, reality is really real. I felt like I was just wasting some of those precious times when he's still here since I did not able to say the words I must tell to him when he's still alive.

Father's day is used to be celebrated on June, since then, everyday is a father's day to me, but now, I don't think how to celebrate it without him. It seems so envious to see others with their father celebrating fathers day with them.

Missing someone you know that would never come back is not easy to feel, and it's so hard to accept; so don't miss your chances when you still have it, 'coz you might lose it when time is really over.

Though it's too late now, but like other child, I still want to say sorry for being a brat sometimes, hence, no one could ever tell how much I love you, Papa, and no one could measure how much I am proud of you. No words can tell how much thankful I am being with you as a father, and a leader to the family. I love you and I miss you every single day.
