Had you tried "pungko pungko"Cebu

They say youd never been to Cebu unless you tasted the world's tastiest roasted pig according to Michael Bourdain or swam in its white pristine waters .Cebu is known globally for its religious importance hence its century old churches that are well preserved,its historical significance for the great state leaders it had born and for countless political timelines it had been mentioned.But do you also know that apart from its musically inclined people and some beauty queens at that its also a place where you can have sinfully delicious fried entrails ,porkchops,sausages,and crab meat served hot in an alley we call "pungkopungko"..?

Because its my colleague and German classmate's Chy birthday we decided to head off to the best in town.There was a time where these entrails like intestines ,testicles even and pig brain were food for the poor but thanks to these vendors it had now become a gastronomical experience one must have while sojourning Cebu.

I hope Jes,the only lad in our group dont find this unhealthy as most considering its high uric ,salt and fat content.But hey youd have to be so health conscious to say no to these.People eatinh with their hand covered in plastic or disposable transparent gloves would surely entice anyone to dig in.

In this life sure its important to eat healthy but equally true its also important to have fun with friends and support local enterpreneurs as well.Cebu might have been famous for its dancing jailmates synchronized tapping those feet to the tube of the iconic Michael Jackson but lets not forget that this province has endeared itself to tourist local or international alile for the warmth smiles and comraderie too.

Because you dont stay young forever and another cake to blow is indeed sort of a miracle and a gift this place can be a good idea for natal celebrations.Its not as expensive and not as strict when it comes to dininh manners
So please do try it one time at least .

As much as I want to be a centennarian so I can see the future ahead of me I will never miss out on the opportunity for spontaneous laughter,and that greasy mouth watering food this place offer.Afterall,if I dont try it now with normal blood pressure,arthritis free joints I am now then when is the best time?So yeah trust me when I say I chewed them as if its my last meal Ill ever had.Guess eating dangerously isnt as bad afterall sometimes
