In few days the whole city of Cebu will be dancing for thee child Jesus or Santo Nino .The hotels will be booked, roads are closed or jam packed with people local or tourist alike. All wants to witness another grand parade in honor of this divinity.

Yes it's a Catholic event but it's also indisputable it has huge tourism and commercial impact hence the localgovernment i pours in a lot of their budget on keeping it better than before.

So it leaves us questioning with so much demand for services be it for lodging, transportation, food , workforce etc surely one can expect prices to climb .What then can one do for free?

A. Beautiful pictures

There would be photo opportunities for everyone everywhere. Just walk around the street and you'd see installations being built for the event. The malls also would also come up with exhibits be it of sculptures of the patron saint , paint work or costumes don by the street dancers.

Santo Nino cathedral would be so ornately decorated with its red and yellow flags up in the air. The image of its parishioner is a fascinating view not to exclude the street banners that are in every street.From the grand parade to the enthusiastic crowd of peddlers and on lookers one can always find a reason to click it's camera

B. listen to original Bisaya music be it done live by a street band, or a church choir or played in business establishments.

You'd never been to this event of you have not memorized the "pit senyor"chant by the merry makers.

Since it's a highly advertised event celebrities are common to brush shoulders with. The dance steps I am certain can inspire would be choreographers.While the makeups would serve as great learning grounds for soon to be make up artist. The array of tune would surely be fascinating to a musician.
