ULOG No. 12: SEEING HIS PEDIA

We noticed that our boy is an eater, to the point that he would want to go down to the kitchen and eat at 9 or 10pm when we are about to sleep almost every night, because he is hungry. But then he doesn't gain weight. I'm even afraid that he is underweight. So to dismiss any apprehension, we need to see his doctor to address whatever problem he has.

And here we are, an OPD jump packed with people. His doctor wasn't around yet so we have to wait for her arrival. It was 10 minutes past ten when we arrived at her clinic and her secretary said that she is coming at around 11am.

Finally, at quarter to twelve the doctor arrived. We're the third patient so we still need to wait for our turn.

And when it was our turn, our little Thirdy was excited. That's the good thing that the doctor noticed about him. He wasn't afraid of her! She said that most kids are terified of them, as if seeing them as a huge injection. Hahaha! 😂😂

The checkup went well, only that our little one is underweight. She just changed his milk, and we'll see in the next couple of weeks if his weight improves. Hopefully it will. She assures us that as long as he is not sickly, he is OK. And she said that it is better for a kid to be underweight than overweight. Cause the latter is harder to manage, and will eventually cause health problems. She also prescribed a deworming meds. Other than that, all is well. 😊

I'm so thankful that all everything is fine with the little human.

Now, I can breath normally.
