I post this Facebook dialogue between Tyler Cj and me on the Steemit, because I feel it is rather meaningful and thought-provoking.

Well-said!
Oh, who is Eric Hoffer? My late American husband was a scholar/pedant with bachelor degree and a variety of certificates. However, only I know how miserable his fate was! Once his Pharmacist License was suspended, he was abandoned by the whole society, including his own family immediately, from a God's favored one to a useless person like a garbage.

I learned of Eric Hoffer from studying Bob Proctor. He quoted him a lot. This quote from Eric of "in times of change" was a self proclaimed prophecy decades before its time. It's so good! And it's exactly what is happening in this day and age! To the T!

Eric Hoffer (July 25, 1898 – May 21, 1983) was an American moral and social philosopher. He was the author of ten books and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in February 1983. His first book, The True Believer (1951), was widely recognized as a classic, receiving critical acclaim from both scholars and laymen, although Hoffer believed that The Ordeal of Change (1963) was his finest work.

My international love story(between China and US) has well-proven that we are "in times of change", too. Without internet, I can't meet my late American husband in my next life. I cherish the memory of him till forever!

Yeah, internet is expanding the span of space and time tremendously, pitifully most of us have no courage to break our traditional mode of thinking and mental state. The age we live in is such an awkward age: With the advent of disruptive technology--internet and digitalcurrency, the old knowledge/ethics/system has been obsolete, the new knowledge/ethics/system is not yet born... But I firmly believe in the near future, people will realize that our world is smaller, our family is bigger! We common people/grassroots can become international citizens, having a lot of international friends/parters from different countries so easily like the previledged class...

Rememer: Nothing is impossible!
