Vincent grew up in the Dutch province of Brabant.

He wrote this about the nature there:
📝 ‘In the evening, when we rode back from Zundert over the heath, Pa and I walked a way, the sun set red behind the pines and the evening sky was reflected in the marshes, the heath and the yellow and white and grey sand were so resonant with tone and atmosphere’. Later, during a difficult period in his life, Vincent painted how he remembered the province. #VanGoghsdailylife

The picturesque presentation of the province with the reddish sun amidst greenish cloud adorned with the curvy golden lining is indeed another masterly creation of Van Gogh. The typical Brabant houses under a high glorious sky have added more beauty to the place where Vincent grew up. The walking figures and somewhat stylized trees around have made the painting more lively. It appears as an exceptional work of art and it has added much more beauty to a rather barren province. it is a masterly creation and a priceless contribution to the world.
