It was nice to see the sunshine this morning after the grey skies of the past two days. :D

The chickens love the day after we get a heavy rain, so many worms and grubs are easy to get to after a good rain. :D

The girls were buried in their wood chips this morning, you can still see some of the chips on their sides and backs, they go well with the oatmeal on their faces, LOL. :D

Belle was the most vocal of our cow babies this morning, she kept telling my handsome husband and I to hurry up as we worked on moving the gravel over to where we sit the feeder for the winter just outside the barn. :D Here she’s giving us grief as the others try to keep themselves occupied with a snack while they wait. :D

The girls have enjoyed their morning scratches, time to head back inside for more zucchini chunks. :D

My handsome husband about to drop another bucket of gravel into the sloppy spot by the barn. :D We’ll probably have to get a third load eventually, but we’re hoping this load will make it easier and less messy for our cow babies. :D

Okay, the gravels all in place and we’ve smoothed it out a bit, we’ve got the feeder back in place and refilled with a new round bale, once we’ve got the fencing back in place we can let the cow babies come back for a good feast of hay. :D
