RE: ULOG 915 - Weekly Thoughts - 20 Jul 20 - 26 Jul 20 - Homesteading This Week...
Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog, reading my post and making a comment. :D
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, thank you very much. :D I highly recommend having a farm/hobby farm/homestead. :D It is very therapeutic, lots of hard work and you'll never need to go to the gym again if you have one, the workouts you'll get mucking out stalls or chasing animals is great. :D LOL! :D Even if you could just get a few chickens to start, depending on where you live and laws there, it's so relaxing to just watch the chickens scratching for worms/grubs and walking around. :D If it wasn't for the mosquitoes, blackflies, noseeums and other insects that bother us while we're outside we'd spend hours just watching them and the cows moseying around. :D
If you really want one, you don't need a big plot of land to make it happen, a small homestead can be made on just an acre or two of land and is worth it. :D The relaxation and stress relief we feel every time we arrive home is fantastic and worth every sore muscle and mistake we've had/made over the years. :D
Welcome to Steemit! :D Hopefully you'll meet a good group of people on here and you'll have as great an experience as I've had with them all. :D
If you're looking for positive folks, I'd recommend checking out the #gratefulvibes and #innerblocks tags, there are a lot of great folks in those. :D
God bless you. :D Have an awesome day! :D
Yup, I definitely enjoyed your post. While reading it, I clearly imagined the happy life in a farm. It has always been my dream to live a simple life - away from the noise of cities.
I actually lived in the countryside when I was small before relocating to the city where I also currently live. I never forgot how beautiful my childhood was. As I get older, I realize more and more that life in a modern and fast-paced world is tiring.
I would love to go back to my old country life and seeing your post actually inspired me to start making it happen. Thank you!
I can't even imagine living back in a city, no matter if it was big or small, after living out here in the country. :D I find that I'm getting more and more reluctant to even go to town and I'd avoid it completely if possible, but until that happens we'll just go in once or twice a month for supplies we run out of or need for projects around here. :D
I'm glad that you're inspired to make getting back out into the country happen for yourself, it was the best decision we ever made for ourselves. :D
God bless you and help you make that inspiration into a reality soon. :D
Thanks a lot! Looking forward to your upcoming posts 😊
You're most welcome! :D
