Ulog Diary #50 : A Kinda-Friday-the-13th Monday

I may be well familiar with Friday the 13th but I am not really much a believer of it. I have however learned and practiced taking extra care whenever this day arrives. Nothing to loose with an extra carefulness right? In all my years however, I haven't had any bad experience with a Friday the 13th (don't get me wrong I'm not complaining) so today's 13 on the calendar, a Monday, with misfortunes puzzles me.

From the morning trip to the government office for some document filing that ended up kinda useless to an afternoon fiasco with a money transfer transaction that almost made me loose some money up to the supermarket errand that resulted in a wrong formula milk purchase, I think I may have the right to feel grumpy on a Monday. By 2pm today I was already too furious to even work normally.

Fortunately, as the day came to a close, all the mishaps have been rectified that I finally got to enjoy my dinmer with the family.

I ended the day with a delicious home-cooked meal of sinigang na bangus and gising-gising (a vegetable dish with ground pork and chillis) and my day finally got better. Nothing that a good food can make up for eh?.

There may be things that don't happen as planned but it's not enough reason to get all grumpy and ruin the day. It's another day in your life you will never get back.
