Ulog#23- Meet my Parents of my Advisory Class, Grade 9 - Regañon

Good vibes Steemians, how are you? It's Saturday here in the Philippines, supposedly there will be no classes on weekends, yet we have to report to school for the distribution of cards for the learner's performance during the first quarter. Good thing for a chance to talk to every parent with regards to academic performance and the behavior of their children. When I made the blog on the first day of school, I was with cute Grade 7 students but was change to Grade 9 still carrying the section name out of teacher's surname which is so awkward on my part, my section is carrying the surname of my former husband, using the surname as the section name only happens this school year, huhu. I just pretend to like it of having no choice.

After a short program that was held at the school ground, parents were advised to go the the respective adviser for the election of classroom parent officers then for the card distribution. Meet the parents of my students for only 29 attendees out of 52 students in my advisory class.

Since we have double shifting of classes due to lack of classrooms, I brought my parents to the computer laboratory and offered the afternoon adviser to use the classroom. We elected first a set of classroom officers and had this pose with them with my Filipiniana outfit as required. Actually this is the only Filipino costume I have and now use for the third time and maybe repeated again to wear in the future, yeah this is true.

Officers had their short talk to say thank you for voting them and for possible plan of activities and projects for the welfare of their children.

I was happy with these parents who spend time to know how their children behave in school. Most reasons of parents who can't attend is for their livelihood that made them busy. The fact is that their presence has a big impact on children's feelings whether their parents are concern or not to them. They may think that it's okay to become notorious in school, it maybe in their thinking that parents won't know what they are doing for their parents won't attend for any meeting.
