#Ulog Agricultural Farm Establishment
Today has been quite busy for me, even though it’s a Sunday. I got a call very late of an agricultural farm project which my input is needed as a soil scientist and a GIS and Remote sensing professional.
The land area is about 1000ha and a detailed soil survey of the area will be carried out.
As a Soil Scientist with a knowledge in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I had to plan how the work will go ( most especially in the area of soil sampling) using Google Earth Software and ArcGis Software.
The work has gone to a certain level and I hope to be through by Monday.
I do look forward to the feasibility of the project, so that planting, processing and other Agricultural activities can begin on the land in no time.
Together we can feed the world.
