Ulog 26: Strange Drawing Commission Requests

Hello Steemians, happy Wednesday.

So for today's Ulog, I just wanted to share a couple of drawings I've been commissioned for over the past few years... mainly because the first time I was asked to draw one of these unique poses, I thought someone was taking the mic! ... take a peek...

Yep - Mark contacted me and asked "can you draw one of me holding a fish...?"

Cue long silence as I tried to figure out if he was having me on... followed by one of my most enjoyable portrait experiences to date. I loved the challenge of all of those different textured and reflections. Just loved it.

But I thought it would be a one-off. Nope- seems the carp boys are very keen to commemorate their finest catches, and the carp kept coming.

Here's Rob and Kav...

Kav was kind enough to share some details about how they fished and how important caring for their catches is to them... and about returning them to the water.
