ULOG: Day 2 ~Making wednesday worthwile~

It turned out that today was not a holiday as we had thought last monday. I would really love to make a blog about other places besides our office but for today that is still not plausible.

So I have decided to explore on our office as what is already old but still treasured.

Our office is still a clatter of papers and had still not adapted the soft copies for storage in computers unlike most businesses and companys today. Here's the proof !

Another find is this functioning typewriter ! And we are still using this old pal.

Then here's still a functioning fax machine and my boss still sends fax to his clients up until now

Lastly, we still have faith in God. An office here in Cebu is mostly not complete without our patron Snr. Sto Nino whom we pray and believe will keep us away from harm.

Old stuff is as important as the latest technologies we are enjoying today. They have endured with time and still prove their usefullness even as to today amidst the clatter of high end technologies. Without them first, the new ones will not even exist also.

I could relate it to our grandparents. Most of the time they are already old and slow and some people dont value them so much at all. They are burdened with the responsibility of taking care the rusted engine they think, has no use already. But what they dont know is that old folks possessed the skill and knowledge they have learned through out their existince, thats called experience that could prove fruitful if we would only listen to them. Mostly I love the talks I have with my grandfather for he taught me things that I was able to apply in my life to make it better. Specially with decision makings.

Throw away the garbage but not the old functioning things.
