The world today is full with fear, especially with us parents who still have teenagers and little children,
With the growing trend in sexual abuse in children and the need for us to educate our children about sex as early as possible, we should also endeavour to always create a home environment that provides love, security and physical affection for our kids, as the saying goes "action speaks louder than voice"

In most cases, children who became snared in the trap of illicit sex are emotionally needy because they don't live in a loving, supportive home environment with strong standard and encouraging parents.

Your home needs to be an emotion watering well, an oasis where your children learn about trusting God at all times and a place of refreshment for their soul wherever they go, for love and affection.

If on the other hand, our homes are characterised by fear and legalism, it can lead to rebellion in our children.

When they picture a scenario of a mum hugging a son and a dad hugging a daughter, it will send a message to them "you are a young man or woman worthy of attention and affection from someone of the opposite sex"

May we never be the reason why our children will find love and comfort in the arms of the wrong person.
