#UlogPost16: Growing a Garden Into a Child’s Life

Growing Great Garden And Growing A Great Kid

All kinds of life’s lessons can sprout in a garden. I know some may react to how I perceive in my mind that a “realistic life” happens inside a beautiful garden. Life’s mystical sceneries, peace of mind and musical rhythm that is what a majestic garden can offer to all of us, in a bigger picture to everyone’s life.

And the perfect way to experience the marvelous feeling of a garden is to tend one for ourselves.

So the story begins when my mom-in-law received a precious gift from her patient, an aloe vera. And by the time she arrives at home, she then immediately rushed to me so that I may able to see the precious gift.

I was so happy seeing the healthy aloe vera! There were lots of healthy roots on it so I decided that it is ready for replanting. And guess what? I’m not the only one who is super excited but also AJ too. So I let her wear a pair of gloves so that she won’t get dirt on her hands. I’m just paranoid that she might get the dirt onto her mouth.

I let AJ hold the aloe vera for a seconds because I first took out the unwanted weeds on the side of the pot soil then I made a two inches hole on the soil.

We planted our new aloe vera baby on a vacant pot with fertilized soil on it. So it was AJ who gently put the aloe vera on the soil and I assisted her on putting few soil on its side.

Afterwards, AJ then slowly poured a little water on our new baby plant.

AJ insisted to have a selfie shot with her first planted aloe vera her Texas.

Such a wonderful feeling seeing my toddler appreciating nature as much as I do. I can now truly see her future full of colorful abundance.

This is now our two days old baby plant.
