#ulog 06/14/18 : Let Me Take You To Emilio Aguinaldo Museum
Last Tuesday, since it was holiday, I and my sister decided to visit one of the historical museum here in Baguio, the Emilio Aguinaldo Museum. It is located at General Luna Road just across the Daily Inquirer building. Upon arrival, the front door is closed but they directed as at the first floor of the museum.

Let me start at the information desk.
As we enter the museum, we logged-in at this table. (Oh, thank God it's holiday so it's a free visit.)The table that is one of those that usually used by Emilio Aguinaldo before. Isn't it a surprise? Until now it is still in a good condition. On the table are the mini Flags used before by our Heroes, The KKK flag until the Flag that we have now and other flags. On the wall are the photos of Aguinaldo, his youngest daughter and his comrades.
The opposite of the table is this grand piano. At the wall are some old photos of him and his comrades. There is also the La Independencia, this is the newspaper where the declaration of Philippine Independence day in the year 1898 was written.
At the other side of the room are the collection of Emilio Aguinaldo's personal things.
The uniforms and clothes of Emilio Aguinaldo.
After a few minutes at the first floor, a young lady accomodate us to the second floor. She then gave us instructions not to take videos. She instructed us to take photos as we wanted but make sure our camera flash is off.
The history begins! Wow! The young lady refreshes our minds about the history of Emilio Aguinaldo including those that were fought for the independence of the Philippines. She also tells us the history of how Aguinaldo became the first Philippine President at the age of 27.
I will share with you the history not through writings but through this images I captured. From the war against Spaniards who colonized us for a very long time to the war against Americans until the declaration of Independence day.
The Battle Of Tirad Pass that was lead by Gregorio H. del Pillar.
The Battle Flag
This battle flag was still preserved for a very long time and hopefully it will live for many years. According to our tour guide, it may only live for 15 years or less.
At the edge of the flag, our guide shows us the blood stains and gun shots as a proof of the originality of the Battle Flag.
The Philippine Flag
It was weaved by Marcella Agoncillo together with Jose Rizal's niece in Honkong.
The Philippine National Anthem music piece. There is no lyrics but notes since it was originally composed as a march music for the soldiers before.
The Spanish Swords
These swords were given by the Spaniards during the time they were defeated.
Finally, after some series of battles, here comes the declaration of Independence day and the oath taking of our First Filipino President.
Other Images I Captured in the museum
The wheelchair of Emilio Aguinaldo
Before we ended our Museum tour, we first took a selfie near the Statue of Emilio Aguinaldo just outside the museum.
If you want to have a visit of the Museum, it was open from Tuesday to Sunday but not on Mondays. With 95 Phone, you can take a tour at the place with the friendly tour guides.
Thank you so much for letting your time for my #ulog for today.
