#ULOG 11 : OMG, Bomb Joke Case, Lawyer Requests Aircraft to Be Presented at the Trial

Frantinus Nirigi's attorney (FN), Andel asked to present evidence in the form of Lion Air JT 687 aircraft in the trial of bomb jokes that took place at the Mempawah District Court, West Kalimantan, Monday (09/10/2018).
The aircraft, according to Andel, is evidence of the place of the panic that occurred on May 28, 2018 at Pontianak Supadio International Airport.
"We also asked for the plane to be presented, but it could not be presented. Though the plane was evidence," Andel said, Monday night.
The panic began with an announcement made by Lion Air JT 687 flight attendant stating that there was one passenger suspected of carrying explosives, so passengers were asked to get off the plane.
Andel said that the FN had absolutely no mention of the words of the bomb, but "watch out for Mrs.".
"Only the flight attendant witness named Cindy Veronika Muaya only admitted to hearing, while no other witnesses heard directly. Just heard from Cindy," Andel said.
Cindy's statement, continued Andel, was countered by the airport security (Avsec) that checked the FN at that time. Security officers even testified that when the first interrogation was conducted, the FN did not mention the word bomb at all.
In the trial, the Prosecutor presented two witnesses who were members of Avsec, namely Rudi Sanjaya and Edi Subaidi.
"These two Avsec member witnesses did not hear the word bomb at all when conducting an interrogation of the FN," he said.
"It was a fact that actually happened and was revealed in the trial. Frantinus said 'watch out for Mrs.', that was the real fact during the initial interrogation, before the police interrogated and was BAP," said Andel.
Meanwhile, the Prosecutor General of the Mempawah Prosecutor's Office, Rezkinil Jusar said that related to the facts revealed in the trial, later it would be an assessment for the panel of judges to make a decision.
"How is the competency of the information from each witness presented, yes we submit it fully to the panel of judges," he said.
Rezkinil added, the desire of legal counsel to present evidence at the trial according to him must be corrected. The aircraft is evidence and not evidence.
