#ULOG 05 : Police Investigate Women Steal MMC Hospital Patient Money

A woman was reported to the Setiabudi police station on suspicion of escaping USD 2,546 in money belonging to a patient of the Jakarta MMC Hospital. The woman's action was recorded by CCTV cameras which later became viral on social media.
"Yes, the investigation is underway. From the Setiabudi police station investigating the case," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Sr. Comr. Indra Jafar when contacted by reporters on Thursday (08/29/2018).
Indra said the investigator had asked the complainant for information. The police will also conduct a crime scene (TKP).
"Yes, the (Setiabudi police station) must have done it (TKP)," he added.
In a short video circulating on Instagram, there were women in white and blue floral veils running in the parking lot of the Jakarta MMC Hospital. The woman carried a yellow bag suspected of containing the victim's money and rushed out of the hospital.
The victim, Novi Dian Wulansari, related the incident on Wednesday (8/29) morning. At that time, he and his family were waiting for his sister, Denny, who was in a coma and treated at the MMC Jakarta Hospital due to an accident.

The perpetrators mentioned the names of the victims' family members, so the victims were not suspicious. He also chatted with the family so the atmosphere melted, until finally, the perpetrator asked Dian, Novi's cousin, to hand over Linda's bag.
Linda is one of Novi's family. After patting Dian's shoulder, the perpetrator then asked Dian to hand over Linda's bag, which contained USD 2,546 .
The yellow bag went into the hands of the perpetrator. After mastering the bag, the perpetrator rushed out of the hospital.
